Indian Institute of Technology, Himachal Pradesh has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Non - Teaching positions. Last date to apply for the post is April 28, 2014.

Pay Scale/ Stipend 
  1. For post 1 and 2: Pay Band (PB) - 3, Pay Scale of Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100 plus Grade Pay of Rs 5,400 per month.
  2. For post 3: Pay Band (PB) - 2, Pay Scale of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 plus Grade Pay of Rs 4,600 per month.
  3. For post 4 and 5: Pay Band (PB) - 1, Pay Scale of Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 plus Grade Pay of Rs 2,800 per month for post 4 and Grade Pay of Rs 1,800 per month for post 5.
Application Fee
  1. Application fee of Rs 100 is to be paid by a Demand Draft in favour of Registrar Indian Institute of Technology Mandi payable at State Bank of India, IIT Mandi Branch (SBIN 0000676).
  2. No application fee is required from the SC/ST candidates and persons with disabilities.

Eligibility criteria:  
Assistant Publicity Officer under Finance Department:
  • Candidate should be a graduate in Science/ Arts/ Commerce from any recognized University.
  • Candidate should have a Degree/ Diploma in Journalism or in Mass communication or at least three years experience in Journalism in a responsible capacity/ Public relations /organization/ Govt. public Relation Department.
  • Candidate should have good command over English and knowledge of Assamese or any regional language of the State.
Research Assistant under Finance (Budget) Department:
  • Candidate should be a graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university. However, preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Economics/Statistics/Mathematics.

Special Officer (Ahom Studies):
Candidate should hold a post graduate degree in History and a certificate/ Diploma in Ahom-Tai from a recognized University.
Candidate should have published works in History and proficiency in reading and deciphering of Ahom-Tai Manuscripts is desirable.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT ), Roorkee has invited applications for admission to its full time and part-time Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme offered in various Engineering disciplines, for the academic session beginning in 2014.

Eligibility criteria:

Applicants should fulfill any of the following criteria to be eligible for the programme:

Applicant should have done his or her B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent degree in Engineering.
Applicant who has completed his or her M.Tech degree but doesn't have a a bachelor's degree in Engineering must have studied Mathematics at the bachelor's level.
Applicant with a B.Tech./M.Tech degree in any branch of Engineering may be considered for research areas consistent with the academic background and experience.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Ltd has declared Interview results for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Manager (Finance) and Account Assistant (Finance) on Direct Recruitment basis, and for the post of Legal Assistant.
The Interviews for the post of Assistant Manager (Finance) were held on February 25 and 26, 2014, for the post of Account Assistant (Finance) from March 12 to 14, 2014 and for the contractual post of Legal Assistant the Interview were held on March 11, 2014 in DMRC office.
Based on the performance in the screening tests including Interviews, 37 candidates - 13 for Assistant Manager (Finance) in the pay scale of Rs 20600- 46500 on direct recruitment basis, 21 for Account Assistant (Finance) in the pay scale of Rs 10170 - 18500 on direct recruitment basis and 3 for Legal Assistant (Legal) in the pay scale of Rs 13500-25520 on contract basis for a period of one year; have been provisionally empanelled for selection in DMRC.
The final selection will be done after candidates clear the medical test.
The selected candidates are requested to report at DMRC Office 'Metro Bhawan, Fire Brigade Lane, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi-110001' on April 16, 2014 with 6 recent passport size photographs and all origional documents for medical examination.

State Bank of India PO Recruitment Exam: Application process

State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications for recruitment at 1897 posts of Probationary Officers through SBI PO Exam. Interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by April 24.

The graduates between the age group of 21 and 30 years are eligible to apply.

Application process:

Candidates are required to apply online through the official website of the bank between April 7 and April 25.

In order to apply online, the candidates are required to have a valid e-mail ID which should be kept alive at least till the results are declared. This will be the medium for them to receive all the details and notifications.

Candidates can make the payment either through online mode or offline mode.

Online mode: To make the payments online, candidates can use debit card/ credit card/ internet banking.

Offline mode: Candidates who wish to send the payment offline are required to submit the system generated cash voucher/ challan form with the candidate's details at State Bank of India branch counter with the requisite fee.

Note:

Candidates are required to scan their photographs and signatures.
After filling the application form, the candidates will have to submit the data or save it.
Candidates after which will be provided with a provisional registration number and password. The candidates should note it down for further usage.
After the filling of application forms completely and submitting them, the candidates are required to take out a print out of the same.
Three days after the payment of fees, the candidates will receive registration confirmation either by SMS/ E-mail.
The exam is scheduled to take place in June.

Educational Qualification

Experience:
Five (05) Years & above working experience in a Private/ Public Sector/ Foreign/ Reputed Investment Bank preferably in Processing Corporate Proposals.
Age Limit
  • Maximum Age Limit for the candidates is 35 Years as on closing date prescribed for receipt of application.
  • Age Relaxation of  05 Years for SC/ ST candidates, 03 Years for OBC Candidates, 05 Years for Ex- service commissioned Officers, o5 Years for Officers serving in the Regional Rural Banks, 10 Years for Physically Challenged Category candidates and 05 Years for the children/ family members of those who died in 1984 riots.

Fee Payment 
The Candidate has to pay Rs. 100/- as a Application Fee (Intimation Charges) for the post of Chartered Accountant in MMGS - III which is Non- Refundable.  Fees Payment through Demand Draft only, to be issued in favor of  “PSB SO Recruitment Project 2013-14” payable at New Delhi. The application without requisite demand draft will be liable to be rejected.
